    Capitol Tower will be conveniently served by the METRORail light rail system, which connects downtown to Midtown, the Museum District, Hermann Park and the Texas Medical Center and other major Houston destinations, including University of Houston's Downtown campus to the north, and Rice University, the Houston Zoo and Reliant Park to the south. METRORail's new Central Station is located just one block away. The station will be the hub of Houston's expanding rail network, including the East, Southeast and North line extension projects, which will expand the system from 7.5 miles currently to 22 miles of track.
